TNT Powerhouse, founded in 1973 combined energetic performances with raw talent. TNT Powerhouse influenced and paved the way for the next generation of bands in the Ohio and National music scene.  TNT Powerhouse was a band with a mission performing hundreds of concerts across the United States and Canada, making TNT Powerhouse one of the best bands to call Ohio home. Influences such as James Brown, Bootsy Collins, Roger Troutman and Zapp, Keith Cheatham and Sun inspired the funk movement that became TNT Powerhouse. This band captivated audiences over the span of 3 decades with their signature sound and unique performances. From the opening note, audiences would be hooked! Several of TNT Powerhouse members would move on to play with other top bands and create great music for the world. Sun of Dayton Ohio, Midnight Star of Cincinnati, Bootsy Rubber Band of Cincinnati, and the Calloways of Cincinnati are examples of bands that included former members of TNT Powerhouse.
